2010 Sunoco ALMS Series Champion

Oakshade Raceway: 2nd in Late model points

Eldora Speedway: 3rd in late model points

3rd in UMP East Region points

6th in UMP National Points

15 Feature wins including 5 late model and 10 Modified feature wins

Brian Ruhlman wins Steel City Stampede Modified race at Lernerville Speedway. 

After starting 11th in the feature, Brian steadily worked his way to the front taking the lead before the halfway mark in the 20 lap feature to pick up the $1000 prize. 

The Rocket Modified house car has earned 10 feature wins in 15 races with only a single finish worse than 2nd place. 

Kokomo Klash Oct. 16

Brian leads all 25 laps to win the modified feature in his first visit to the track. Brian also finished 4th in the late model feature that night.

UMP Fall Nationals at Eldora Oct 8-9

You be the judge..................After leading the entire feasture, Kenny Schrader pulled a slide job on the final corner of the race and beat us to the line by inches. Brian set 3rd fast time overall in the field of 118 modifieds and won his heat race after starting 4th.

Dealers Choice at Hartford Speedway

Brian picked up the modified feature win in the modifieds at the Dealer's Choice race. Brian also ran second in the Late model feature.

Sun. Aug 22

Brian Ruhlman wins the 3rd Annual Xtreme 100 at Mt. Pleasant Speedway. Brian won his heat race, started on the pole and led every lap to pick up the $2000 prize 

Brian picked up his 3rd ALMS victory of the 2010 season Saturday night, Aug 21st at I-96 Speedway adding to his ALMS series points lead. This wins also vaults Brian into 6th place in UMP National Points.

Ruhlman Race Cars House car Rocket Modified wins Modapalooza III at Hartford Speedway in it's first outing.

This is our first Chevelle front end Rocket modified we have built and it was stellar right out of the box. With help from long time crew chief, Mark Snider and Jimmy Kirk, we literally assembled this car in 3 days time. We made it to the track just in time for hot laps and won our heat race and won the feature which was worth nearly $2900 in winnings.

Here are a couple of 2010 Rocket Modifieds just back from powdercoating. 

The blue chassis is a 2" frame rail car with a Metric front clip. 

The red chassis is a 1-3/4" frame with a Chevelle front clip. The red chassis has several options including a raised roll cage, rear undercarriage, and pull bar mounts.

We produce and sell UMP certified tubular lower control arms to fit metric frames. 

These lowers give the widest track available and are patterned after the 70-81 Camaro left side and Ford LTD Crown Vic right side.  They use a screw in balljoint and have the spring helix built into the lower spring mount so the spring can be installed right side up. 

They come powder coated gloss black. $189.99 each and include the UMP series approval sticker.

Spacer kits are $14.99 per control arm. 

We also offer a complete front suspension package in kit form to convert your metric frame modified to our front suspension.

We offer a modified 6th coil assembly that utilizes a polyurethane spring element that gives a 400lb/in rate. The assembly includes everything shown here and is powder coated. $169.99 ea.

These aluminum nose gussets stiffen the nose and help to protect the bottom lip from damage. $9.95 each.

We sell these plastic nose support strips that fasten under the lip of the MD3 nose and attach to the bottom of the bumper through predrilled holes in the support. They are made from 3/16" thick plastic. They make mounting the nose very simple and support the lip on the nose to keep it from folding under.

Ford 9" Gear Set Cover

This product was designed to be used in Ford 9" rearend housings in place of the gear set.  The unit keeps dirt and contamination out of the housing  and allows the car to be easily moved around since the J-bar bracket can be attached to the cover.  The tip of the handle is at the same location as the centerline of the drive shaft u-joint so the drive shaft length can be measured. Powder coated in gloss red finish.

Ruhlman Race Cars Rocket modified House car set fast time at Eldora in the UMP Fall Nationals by .2 seconds over the 115 car field. We took home the $1000 cash bonus offered up by Larry Shaw.

Ruhlman Race Cars Rocket Modified House car also won the UMP Race of Champions race at the UMP Fall Nationals taking home the $1000 prize. We finished 2nd in the feature after starting 13th.

Brian Ruhlman won the 2009 UMP Modified Fall Blowout race for the second straight year at South Buxton Raceway.

Congrats to Smith-Morton Racing and driver Joe Walker on winning 4 features in a row at Lakeside Speedway in their 2008 Rocket Chassis by Ruhlman Race Cars modified. Keep up the great job guys!!

NEW 2 PIECE FRONT BUMPERS FOR SALE 

Extra wide bumper fits MD3 nose very well. Extra bracing on right front lower corner along with 

double wall tubing on right front lower corner makes this bumper very rugged and dependable. 

Bumper is higher on right to give plenty of ground clearance on right side.

Bumpers are two pice design for economocal shipping and storage. Also allows half of bumper to 

be replaced if one side is bent which saves money. Bumpers fit Rocket Chassis but can be narrowed

at center to fit Mastersbilt, GRT, and others.

Wide front bumper shown installed under MD3 nose. Bumper maintains full contact with nose and 

supports flares on both sides. 

Bumpers are $185.00 plus shipping and $95 ea. for replacement halves.
